BUSN 110 - Principles of Sales (3) This course is an introduction to the principles of selling, the role of the professional salesperson in the marketing process, and sales management. The importance of relationship building and ethical behavior are stressed as students develop techniques for prospecting and qualifying buyers, identifying and overcoming objectives, and closing a sale. Characteristics of the local as well as the global market are discussed.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100 - English Essentials (3) or proper placement scores Corerequisite(s): BUSN 101 - Introduction to Business (3)
