Agribusiness Certificate

The Agribusiness Certificate Program is geared for students seeking a challenging and exciting career in the agricultural industry. Throughout this program, students will explore essential business concepts that include customer service, marketing, and business management. In addition, students will choose between core classes in animal science or food production.

Program Overview 

The Agribusiness Program supplies local agricultural businesses with employees who have training in basic business disciplines as well as animal science or food production. The certificate program will be the first step in a career in agriculture. After completion of the certificate, students can enter the agriculture workforce in entry-level positions. Positions may include agriculture retail, agricultural trade organizations, veterinary offices, produce markets, general farming businesses, and animal farming management.

Career Opportunities

Agribusiness students may find rewarding career pathways in veterinary offices, farmers’ markets, farms, or animal science industries. With a solid foundation in both business and agriculture, certificate students can expect to secure employment across diverse industries in any state.
