The Professional Development Certificate offered by the Divison of Arts provides an incentive for Blue Ridge students to enhance their experience by participating in a series of educational courses in a specialized area. Along with core courses for each specialized certificate is a balanced curriculum with coursework in communication and life skills, critical and analytical thinking, and social awareness. The coursework is essential to prepare students seeking to expand their management competencies.

The Professional Development Certificate verifies a student’s successful completion of a variety of general education courses. The certificate is designed to be completed in one year of full-time enrollment at Blue Ridge CTC. Concentrations are offered in the following areas: Public Relations, Social Sciences, and General Education Core.
