MLT 203 - Immunohematology (3) This course will explore the basic principles of blood banking and immunology to include the organization and functions of the immune system, antigen/antibodies, complement, humoral and immunity of cell-mediated and disorders of the immune system and will present the theoretical and practical concepts of blood bank/transfusion medicine.
Prerequisite(s): Limited to students enrolled with an employer and degree seeking in Healthcare Professions, A.A.S. with a concentration in Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT 101 - Intro to Medical Laboratory Technician (2) , and MLT 102 - Medical Laboratory Techniques (2) .
