EDUC 200 - Foundations of Education (3) This course examines the relationship between the school as a social institution and the larger society through a combination of philosophical, historical, and problem-oriented inquiry into that relationship. The course includes substantial reading and writing components amd a field experience with an at-risk population.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 100R - Reading Essentials (3) or placement, ENGL 101 - ~English Composition I (3) , and EDUC 150 - Seminar in Education (1)
