The course focuses on the current CPT/HCPCS coding classification system used for outpatient/professional fees and ambulatory billing of medical services provided to the patient. This course will emphasize applying ethical coding standards while adhering to current regulations and established guidelines. Upon completion, students should be able to apply coding principles to correctly assign CPT/HCPCS codes.
