Agribusiness, A.A.S.

The goal of this degree is to equip students with knowledge and the skills necessary for entry-level management positions or entrepreneurial ventures within agricultural, food, land, or rural businesses.  Upon completion of this program, students will be well prepared to pursue careers in various agribusiness jobs that include Farm Management, Land use and Management, Sustainable Agriculture Consultant, Agricultural Inspector, Livestock Manager, or Precision Agriculture Technician and any Agriculture related business. Students will engage in coursework covering agricultural business practices and management as well as electives in animal or plant sciences. In addition, the program has courses tailored to practical farm operation such as equipment repair and operation, carpentry and welding.  This diverse mix of courses ensures a well-rounded education tailored to student’s career aspirations.

  • Implement basic business management skills into an agricultural business setting.
