Program Outcomes
Students completing the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice will be able to:
- Possess the basic skills of writing, reading for information, critical thinking, and applied mathematics necessary to be successful in the criminal justice field.
- Discuss the history and philosophy of the components of the criminal justice system.
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of various criminal justice practitioners.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current issues, concepts, and theories of criminal justice.
- Exhibit professional conduct in a criminal justice organization including legal and ethical responsibilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of career options in the criminal justice field
